Slovak nationals who are traveling to Turkey are subject to different visa procedures, according to their means and purposes of travel.
MEANS OF TRAVEL
Air Route
Those Slovak nationals who are traveling to Turkey via air have the chance to obtain their visas at the airport entry points in Turkey or from the Consular Section of Turkish Embassy in Bratislava. While the fee for the visa issued at the airport entry points is 15 Euros (20 US Dolars/10 Pounds), Consular Section of the Embassy charges 60 Euros for the same visa.
Land Route
Slovak national lorry drivers who would like to travel to Turkey via land route are obliged to obtain their visas from the Consular Section of Turkish Embassy in Bratislava. The fee for the visa is 60 Euros.
PURPOSES OF TRAVEL
Education
Slovak students who will study in Turkey have to obtain their visas from the Consular Section of Turkish Embassy in Bratislava. The fee for the visa is 60 Euros.
Cultural Activities/Festivals/Seminars
Slovak nationals who will participate in national or international cultural, historical and fine arts festivals, sports events, seminars, conferences and fairs organized in Turkey are granted gratis visa by the Consular Section of the Turkish Embassy.
